About
I am originally from Royse City, Texas. My husband, Will, and I got married in 2019
in Berry Chapel. We adopted our dog, Winnie, last fall and love to take her on adventures!
Fun Facts
Favorite Ouachita memory
My favorite Ouachita memory is living in Frances Crawford for three years: one year
as a freshman and the other two as a Resident Assistant. As an RA, I was able to check
on freshman ladies to make sure they were doing well in the transition to college
life AND help plan fun events for them to come to! I’m a Francie girl forever.
What do you wish students knew about Ouachita?
I wish students knew that Ouachita has a huge network of alumni and people connected
to the university. You can go to all regions of the state of Arkansas (and all across
the country and world) and find people connected to Ouachita. Those connections are
so helpful for our current students and soon-to-be graduates as they seek out professional
opportunities as well as personal encouragement!
What is your favorite study spot on campus & why?
My favorite study spot on campus is the Student Center on a Saturday morning, especially
in the fall. It tends to be quiet on Saturday mornings, so it’s the perfect time to
get work done. There’s also nothing like walking across campus to the Student Center
on a crisp morning. Nerdy, but true.
What do you like most about working with students?
What I most enjoy about working with students is seeing and hearing how they are excited
to join the Ouachita community as prospective students. Then it comes full circle
when they’re on campus as current students and come to love Ouachita even more!
