About
Doug Nykolaishen believes it's impossible to overstate the importance of the Bible as the foundation
of belief and action for all Christians. That's why he cares so deeply about helping
students explore the Bible as fully as possible, so they can understand it as clearly
as possible.
Doug and his wife, Cora-Fay, enjoy traveling, and their favorite destination is Israel,
where the reality of Biblical events comes alive in a powerful way. They also like
watching movies, especially those that explore contemporary issues. Doug is also an
eager chess player and usually has a couple of email games going with friends, including
former Ouachita students.
